My Ultimate Go-To Natural Make-Up Routine

Simple. Goes with any outfit. Easy. Time efficient. I got 'em ALL in my ultimate natural make-up routine!

Pores be gone starting with MAC Prep + Prime Skin Base Visage. I literally have been using this primer since college & haven't strayed away from it. To help with redness (my acne scars in particular) I will use Soap & Glory Kick Ass Concealer in "All Is Calm" which is a green corrector. I've tried many types of these & love that this is in a stick, super easy to apply, & has such a nice coverage. Then I will apply my Bobbi Brown Corrector in “Bisque” on my dark circles & up around my eyes. Next Revlon ColorStay Liquid Foundation “220”. From the texture, consistency, to the finish, your dewy glow awaits (plus it's high coverage!) To set the foundation, I like to put just a light application of my Youngblood Loose Mineral Powder in “Toffee”. If you haven't tried this line, I highly recommend it! In the summer, I'll just use the powder (liquid foundation feels like wax when it's 100 degrees).  No explanation needed for the next product - Tarte Shape Tape Concealer in “Light Sand”. I'll set it with Laura Mercier's Secret Brightening Powder. Nope, not the translucent powder! I know that's all the rave, but trust me. The brightening powder is the ISHHH. Moving on to blush. I went to a MAC counter in Seattle & said "Make my cheeks a contoured dream!" MAC Powder Blush in “Harmony” was the instant winner. Can't forget about the highlight! My splurge on the COVER FX Drops in “Sunlight” was well worth it. If I'm feeling like glamming up, I like to top it off lightly with my Colourpop Highlighter in “Wisp”.  Setting my face for lasting coverage with Urban Decay's All Nighter Setting Spray. If you don't have any beauty blenders, take 15 minutes & ruuuun to your nearest Ulta or Sephora. Make-up does look different depending on the application & these are a staple with applying my concealers, under eye powder, foundation, & highlight.

Brows can change everything. We all want the best arch feasibly possible. Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder in "Ebony" allows me to get pretty damn close & I will go over the ends of my brows lightly with Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow in "Ebony". I like having this one as well because it's waterproof! For date nights, going out with the girls, etc. it perfect to keep the shape & coverage. With my natural look, I only use one eye shawdow. I'll prime with Urban Decay's Eye Shadow Primer Potion & then use one color from my Urban Decay Smoked Palette (Thank you Kate!) just using the color "Freestyle". It's perfect for having something on the lid that is a neutral base. Okay, here me out on this one. I've been doing my signature cat eye since 2008. I've tried every SINGLE liner out there. Just recently, Revlon came out with a new liquid liner so I jumped all over it. I was previously using Maybelline's Gel Liner, but having deep set eyes, it would end up transferring on my top lids no matter what I did. Revlon ColorStay Liquid Skinny Eyeliner in "Black Out" has a very fine tip which requires a mix of patience & adjusting to the feel. The extra effort is so worth it. Eyeliner on the bottom is a no-go for me, but I do like use NYX's Jumbo Pen in "Milk" to make my eyes look alive & bright. Let's talk fake lashes! Ardell Wispies I buy in bulk, I'm serious. Secret Trick: I like to take two sets & combine them on top of each other for a fuller look! I do this instead of buying super voluminous lashes because the strips are too thick & seem to come unglued quicker. Unfortunately lash extensions don't work for my sensitive eyes (I had a reaction to the glue, wah). Strip lashes are just as amazing & don't bust your budget. I'll use my holy grail L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara in "Carbon Black" on my top lashes, then L'Oreal Telescopic Mascara in "Carbon Black" on my lower lashes (the  silicone brush is easier to use for better accuracy.

Are you always on the hunt for the perfect nude lip? Girl, I feel you. I have to share my new absolute favorite combination! I'll start with prepping my lips with MAC's Prep + Prime Lip for a smooth base. I'll then line my lips with NYX's Lipliner in "Natural"
then apply my new holy grail Milani's Matte Lipstick in “Matte Naked”. I just tried this color only a few months ago & I wish Costco would supply it in bulk for me to buy. Nothing compares! It's the perfect balance between mauve & almond tones. Lip gloss has always been an obsession since middle school. It's not necessary, but I like to top it off with Maybelline's Matte Ink Liquid Lip Gloss in “Loyalist" for a light sheen that dries quickly. I'm a Kylie Cosmetic Groupie (Is that a thing?) & her lip collections are divine. An alternative for a high-shine gloss would be another tried-and-true Kylie Cosmetics Lip Gloss in "Literally"
